Contrary
to society's conspiracy to taint marriage, done biblically, marriage is
beautiful blessed gift. Shift your mindset and understand the purpose
and
importance of marriage.
• For God's glory
• To have and raise a family
• For support in purpose
• For companionship
• For strength
• For love
• To avoid sexual sin

We
were created to Worship God and so all
things must be done unto the Lord, including our marriage, its reason
and its fruit. At a time in the world where many are struggling to
remain in this covenant of marriage, and the divorce rates are high, as
disciples, we are the light of the world, and our marriages can be an
example of that light if we strive to make our marriages an example of
Gods idea of a Christian marriage.
• For support in purpose
Be Fruitful and Multiply ... God blessed each of us with spiritual gifts and calling. With a partner they inspire and encourage. There is Power in Unity. The Bible says that “two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor” (Eccl 4:9) because “one may be overpowered [but] two can defend themselves” (Eccl 4:12) and they can help one another if one falls down (Eccl 4:10).
• For companionship
When GOD created man, he said, it was not good for man to be alone, and so created him a helpmate, woman. This is why a man shall leave his mother and father, and cleave to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.
• For strength
The power of 2
• For love
To
find someone you want to live the rest of your life with is a gift.
Finding them and then choosing to love them ... accept them for who they
are, love them unconditionally, and love them selflessly.
• To have and raise a family
Be Fruitful and Multiply... “Now Adam had sexual relations with his wife, Eve, and she became pregnant. When she gave birth to Cain, she said, 'With the LORD's help, i have produced a man!' ”. The fact that this act of conception is pleasure, is a gift. Sex is a gift, enjoy its pleasure.
*Always keep the passion burning even as you become parents. Be sure to continue to meet each others sex needs so that the enemy will not tempt you into sin, as God warns us; “Afterward you should come together again so that Satan wont be able to tempt you because of your lack of self control.” (1 Corinthians 7:3-5).
