...About Giving...
Giving is a blessed principle, and like gravity, its effects must come to pass.  It does matter whether you are a good person or bad person, if you jump off a tall building, you will fall, and likewise, it doesn't matter if you are a good person or bad person, if you give, you will receive. Evil people use the principle of giving to do more evil. Imagine what good people can do.

...3 Reasons why you should give...
1. FOR GOD'S GLORY
Do it all for the Glory of God. (1 Cor 10:31)
Allow God to use you to answer Prayers.  There is someone out there praying to God for financial assistance & God uses us, his children, to Glorify him.  Do you ever remember asking God for some financial help & someone helped you & you said, wow, my prayers have been answered, MY GOD IS AWESOME!

2. FOR GRATITUDE
God blesses us so we can bless other
If it wasn't for God giving you health, or even a job to God to, surely you would not have received that paycheck in the 1st place. If it wasn't for God, we would have nothing. Be humbled by whatever you receive and show your gratitude & Honor to God by sharing it, no matter how little. He blesses you so you can bless others.
"And he would answer and say to them, “The man who has two tunics is to share with him who has none; and he who has food is to do likewise.”" (Luke 3:11)

3. A TEST OF FAITH
If you cant give a little, then how can you give a lot? (Luke 16:10)
Trusting God with a little is a test of Faith. It's God asking you, to show that you know he is able. If you give & know you will be short, trust God that he knows your needs and he will supply. The woman in the Bible gave her last meal, trusting God & she received not just food supply to last a lifetime, but immeasurable blessings too. (1 Kings 17:8-24)

...4 Reasons why giving will set you financially free...
“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this,” says the Lord of hosts, “if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows.(Malachi 3:10)

1. GIVE AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE
"Give & you shall receive." (Luke 6:3)

2. GIVE AND THE LORD WILL REPAY YOU
"If you help the poor, you are lending to the Lord - and He will repay you!" (Prov 19:17)

3. GIVE AND MORE SHALL BE ADDED UNTO YOU
"To those who use well what they are given, even more will be given, and they will have an abundance.  But from those who do nothing, even what little they have will be taken away."(Mat25:29)
Aslo read; 1 Kings 17:8-16, 1 Kings 17:17-24

4. GIVE AND YOU SHALL BE BLESSED
"He who is generous will be blessed, for he gives some of his food to the poor" (Prov 22:9).

...Creative ideas on how to give financially...
WHY WE SOMETIMES DON'T GIVE
Sometimes we are afraid of not having enough for ourselves, but it is actually through giving that we are set free. We must learn to trust God and to give even if we have a little. If we cant be trusted to give a little, how can we trusted to give a lot (Luke 16:10).
Below are some ideas on; how much to give, how to give & who to give to.

HOW MUCH TO GIVE
"And He sat down opposite the treasury, and began observing how the people were putting money into the treasury; and many rich people were putting in large sums. A poor widow came and put in two small copper coins, which amount to a cent. Calling His disciples to Him, He said to them, “Truly I say to you, this poor widow put in more than all the contributors to the treasury; for they all put in out of their surplus, but she, out of her poverty, put in all she owned, all she had to live on.”"(Mark 12: 41-44)
10%  of your income, or however much you can, something is better than nothing.

HOW TO GIVE
• Give with the right heart & motives
• Give generously
"Remember this, a father who only plants a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop." (2 Cor 9:6)
• Give cheerfully
"For God loves a person who gives cheerfuly" (2 Cor 9:7)
• Give privately
"Give your gifts in private, and your Father, who sees everything will reward you." (Mat 6:4)

WHO TO GIVE
• Give to the poor
• Give for God's work
• Give to help family in need
