The L.O.V. (League of Virtuous) Resume is a brief account of your personality and qualities you have to offer a partner in marriage. We derived this concept from the same resume one creates when looking for a job. 

...The Why of L.O.V. Resume...

People take time to identify and build on the skills they need to get them a well paying job but don't realize that such attention, and even more so, must be put into finding the person you will spend the rest of your life with. A fulfilling or unfulfilling relationship is one area of your life that significantly affects the others.

One spends years going to school to get a degree so they can have the job of your dreams. It wouldn't make sense to spend 4 years getting a degree and then settling for a job at Macdonald's? Nor after all that time and money invested in being hirable, will you likely not aim to find and be hired by the best company in your field. Plus, you most likely research the company you want to work for, their work conditions, compensation and benefit packages.
 
When it comes to marriage, we do not spend time, studying the field of marriage, its realistic expectations, what we will need to be a good wife and getting certified on those skills, what kind of men make good husbands, how to vet potential candidates, as we would with companies.

We somehow just not bother up-ing our skills to make us hirable to the best man out there. We somehow just hope what we learnt from childhood we would be enough, when in truth, and especially nowadays, with emasculated man and fatherless homes, and highly masculated mothers, lots of us didn't have very good examples to be modeled by. We seem to be deceived and paralyzed by myths such as, the right guy will show up, as if the right company will just show up. 
 
As is with when you are creating your job resume, your mindset should be PARTNERSHIP, and not get desperate enough or lower our standards such that we settle for, "I need a job,  i will take anything". This is same mindset sometimes people use when looking for their ideal husband, "I'm afraid of being alone, I'm running out of time, or I need a man so i will marry the next man that comes."

3. Helps you identify what you have to offer your potential partner
4. Shows your potential LOV why they should consider courting you

Work Resume Mindset;
• When looking for a job, you ask; What is my ideal job? What Skills are Required? Am i qualified for it? 

• When considering a job posting and the job; Is this the job for you? Are they offering what you are looking for? Does it have the schedule, the money and most of all the opportunity to use your skills and continue to grow? Do you meet the requirements?

 
L.O.V Resume Mindset; 

• What does your ideal marriage look like? What sort of qualities will you need to be an ideal wife? What kind of man would be your ideal husband? What sort of qualities do you think your ideal man will be looking for and do you have them?  

• And when you find a potential husband; Is he what you are looking for? Do you meet his standards?

This stage is like the when you are creating the job description when posting for a job.
 
To marry, you have a responsibility TO FIND a good partner. Know what marriage is about ... two people building a life together .. and what it takes to have a successful one, which God has already told us ... does he believe in the principles you do ... i.e. equally yoked ... and ... Gods idea of a STRUCTURE that allows marriage to "PRODUCE LIGHT" i.e. show truth that we are children of God. The structure of man as head and woman as body, the same structure Christ uses with the church.

• Job Description; What job are you looking to recruit for? ... Define your purpose of marriage
• Main Duties; What does the job entail? ... Helpmate, Provider, Companion, Friend, etc

...Step 2: Design WHO are you looking for...

This stage is like creating the job candidate you are looking fro when posting for a job.

QUALITIES TO LOOK FOR (Job Add Phase)
• Basic qualities of an outstanding man
• Basic qualities of a potentially outstanding husband
• Basic qualities of a potentially outstanding father

• Equally yoked
God does tell us though the qualities of what a good partner are, eg do not yoke with "unbelievers". In Solomon's case we see where he still made a choice to do it, and because they served different gods, they changed his heart after other gods and it ended up leading him stray.
Abraham told his servant, to FIND his son A good wife, GO to "his people" because he knew their values, and knew they were the chosen ones, and specify to him, "do not ever take to him to the Canaanites". 

STEPS
1. List all the things you want in a partner.
2. List all the things you don't want in a partner.
3. Highlight the non-negotiables / musts.
* Work on becoming your Musts. 

• Requirements, Technical; What skills should the applicant have? ... Man, Husband, Father, Woman, Wife, Mother
• Requirements, Transferable Skills; What character virtues should the applicant have? ... Kind, Patient etc
• Requirements, Personality Skills; What qualities, personal strengths and weaknesses should the applicant have? ... Melancholy, Sanguine, Perfectionist etc

3 Quality Questions
1. What are you looking for in a man? 
• What kind of man do you want to find you
You want someone who is able to give you what you. When you put what you want down, you will get responses from GOV's that are looking for the same thing you are, which is exactly the goal.
• What qualities does he have
• To be loved i.e. intimacy, quality spent 
• 10 things he needs to be; He must be a Leader; Lead in Love, Lead in the Word, Lead in Intimacy, Lead in Rigtheousness, Lead in
• Looking for common interests, likes, values, goals
Describes a summary about what you are looking for in a man.

...Step 3: Design About You (What YOU are looking for)...

This stage is like creating company benefits when posting for a job, and why a candidate must consider working for you. 

Highlights
• Benefits; What benefits do you offer? ... What are your qualities?
 e.g. My husband is my partner. We work together not against each other.
 • Your Accomplishments
Skills, Technical
• As a wife
• As a mummy
Skills, Transferable
• Loving
• Understanding
• Respectful
• Submission???? Submission to God, Submission to Authority, Submission to biblical family idea
Skills, Personality
• Strengths;

• Whats unique about me? 
•  Why should he consider courting me?
• Why should he marry me?
• What makes me think he will like me?
