...5 things i did to create my Zenity Room look...

As my bedroom is an area of rest, i kept it peaceful and relaxing. 

1. The look; Retro Contemporary. 
I love the clean cut & freshness of contemporary so kept it fresh by keeping it clutter free; using minimal deco and keeping other items packed in closed shelves. I love the "homey" feeling retro brings, so accessorized with outdated style accessories.
2. The color; used a light yellow color for a calming energy. 

3. The furniture; used fresh line cut wardrobes to give a contemporary look. *Invested in a comfortable bed, worth investing in a good bed for some healthy rest.

4. The accessories; used outdated style lamp, vase, and wall picture to give a retro homey feel. For the bedding, chose a beautiful attractive piece with bold colors to bring depth to the room and the compliment the season (summer).

1. Added a rail to give an extra line of hanging. 

2. Used organising baskets as shelves and organising boxes as a dresser.

1. Added fun by changing the boards to compliment the season.

Making the most of the cabinet space, i combined my laundry room with my cleaning cabinet

Safe Neighborhood

Eagle ridge, Timberlea is a safe and clean suburban neighborhood. It has a very contemporary look with condos, multi colored townhouses and a little lake and park right in the centre.
