...How to Fast,Correctly...
"...No, this is the kind of fasting i want: Free those who are wrongly imprisoned; lighten the burden of those who work for you, Let the oppressed go free, and remove the chains that bind peopleShare your food with the hungry, and give shelter to the homeless. Give clothes to those who need them, and do not hide from relatives who need your help." Isaiah 58:6-7

...How not to Fast..,
"We have fasted before you!" they say. "Why aren't you impressed? We have been very hard on ourselves, and you don't even notice it!" "I will tell you why!" I respond."Its because you are fasting to please to yourselves.  Even while you fast, you keep oppressing your workers. What is good fasting when you keep on fighting and quarreling? This kind of fasting will never get you anywhere with me. You humble yourselves by going through the motions of penance, bowing your heads like reeds bending in the wind. You dress in burlap and cover yourselves with ashes. Is this what you call fasting?Do you really think this will please the LORD?" Isiah 58:3-5

...Types of Fasting...
 ABSOLUTE FASTS
• Only Water is consumed in this fast
Hydrate with 1 bottle of water every 2 hours
• Drink clean water, distilled is most recommended.
• Drink plain unflavored water, no lemon, or apple cider vinegar etc.

...3 Steps to get you started...
1. LIST THE REASONS YOU WANT TO FAST
Here's some great reasons to fast.


2. PICK THE TYPE OF FAST
i) Will it be a Personal Fast or Corporate Fast?

ii) Will it be a Absolute Fast or Partial Fast?
• Absolute/Dry fast – no food and water for a period of time
• Water Fast – no food, but water can be taken, for a period of time
• Daniel Fast - only fruits & vegetables are taken during period of fasting 
Alternating Day Fasts (ADF) - Fasting days are alternated

iii) How many numbers of days will abstain from food?
• ½ Day Fasts- 12hrs (e.g. 6am – 6pm, 12midnight - 12 noon etc) • 1 Day Fasts– 24hrs (6am – 6am, 12 midnight – 12 midnight etc) 
*You can do just days or both days and nights for the following;
• 3 Days Fasts
• 7 Days Fasts
• 21 Days Fasts
• 28 Days Fasts
• 40 days Fasts


3.  PRAY
Talk with Gods over your matters during this time, otherwise you might just be doing a diet or fast for Health Benefits only. *Fast, Pray and Give and receive the 100 Fold Blessing
The 100 fold blessings say if you apply these three principles together, you receive 100 fold blessings. 

5 Contribution Ideas  
• Give money to a good cause; charity, struggling family member, the poor etc 
• Volunteer time for a good cause (Elderly Home, Homeless Shelter, Orphanage etc)
