Serves 2
Ingredients
•1 cup Quinoa Flakes
•2 cups Distilled Water
•1/4 cup Apple Juice
•1 inch cinnamon stick
• 2 Tbsp Dried Cranberries
• 2 Tbsp Dried Cranberries
•1/2 cup Frozen Berries (thawed overnight in fridge)
Optional
• 1 tsp Fibre
Optional
• 1 tsp Fibre
• 1 tsp Coconut Sap (To sweeten)
Directions
• Boil Water in Cooking Pot
• Add Apple juice, Flakes, Cinnamon & Fibre
• Simmer & Stir continuously for 10 - 15 Minutes
• In A Separate Sauce pan, warm frozen berries for a few minutes
• Place Porridge in Bowl
• Pour Frozen Berries Over
• Sprinkle Cranberries
• Sprinkle Coconut Sap
• Place Porridge in Bowl
• Pour Frozen Berries Over
• Sprinkle Cranberries
• Sprinkle Coconut Sap
*Substitute quinoa flakes with any of the whole grain porridges;
Quinoa Flakes/Grain (yellow, red, black), Millet Flakes/Grain, Barley Flakes, Spelt Flakes, Oats, etc
*Substitute frozen berries for favorite fresh, frozen or dried fruits;
Berries, Mango, Peaches, Dried Apricots, Dates etc
